Hylian
Yes, according to legend, Hyrule was made by the Hylians, who, as we all know, are the closest race to the gods...truth be told, there's also a theory saying that in ancient times there was a race even closer to the gods than the Hylia people, and THEY created it. And they, simultaneously with the birth of the Hylia people, created a new capital, a capital that floated in the heavens.

AN OVERVIEW
- Overview:
Also known as Hylia people, they are the original race of Hyrule. The legends said that Hylians were created by the Goddesses themselves.
A typical Hylian ressembles a human except from long pointy ears. They stand between 5 and 6 feet. Hylian skin colours range from nearly black to very pale. Hair are, in most cases, various shades of blonde, red, brown and black, hair grows gray and white about middle age. Exotic hues are sparse. Their eyes can very to blue or blue-grey to brown or black tones. Blue eyes are more common in a full-blooded Hylian lineage.
A full-blooded Hylian will likely have ears more pointy : they were supposedly to help them hear messages from the Gods. With time, this ability has slow disappeared and few lineage of full blooded Hylians still exist.
Hylians have quite an extended life-span and can have unique psychic abilities.
In the early Hyrule's history, Hylians were widespread and dominant however they're becoming rarer with time, slowly replaced by humans.
It is said that old Hylian communities have been hidden for centuries but no one has ever heard of their existence.
Hylians are ruled by monarchy. Their society is very organised and their kingdom powerful through years of conquests and exchanges with other races. Every adult is expected to have a profession that contributes to their society as a whole. Most Hylian have been given a military training.
Hyrule Castle Town is the most populous settlement in Hyrule. It's a trading hub for all Hylian allies and it's really common to find Zora people or Goron people inside the city.
The Hyrulean Royal Family lives inside Hyrule Castle. The power is hereditary transmitted. The powerful influence of the Royal family over Hyrule led many Hylians to believe being the rightful rules of not only their race but all of the Hyrulean continent.
Hylia Cult
Hylia, or the White Goddess, is the true ancestor of the Royal Family of Hyrule and the mother of all Hylian. For Hylian nobility not worshipping Hylia is rare. Statues representing Her are spread all over Hyrule.
Three Goddesses Cult
The Three Goddesses are the creators of Hyrule by the side of Hylia, leaving the mighty Triforce behind them. Throughout Hyrule, it's common to come across their symbols and representation. Some races, like the Zora people, have taken their symbols as a emblem.
Worshipping Din, Nayru or Farore is not as common as the Hylia Cult. Inside the magical community, worshipping the Goddess close to their elemental alignment is largely spread. (See : Witch)
